Ten Heads, that enormous moustache, a demon king we were supposed to fear- and yet, as a child I found something strangely funny and fascinating about him.
For Rani Pink's first Dussehra , I wanted to remember Ravan as I remembered him as a young girl. Somewhere along the way, he became our favourite nazar battu watching over our homes with his ten heads, enormous moustache and rather magnificent clothes.
So we made him by hand from remnants of Rani Pink textiles. Each Ravan is embroidered, dressed and assembled individually, and no two are quite identical.
Every box is a surprise. Ravan arrives dressed in whichever Rani Pink remnants found their way to him, so his clothes cannot be selected in advance. Open the box and meet your nazar battu his Dussehra.
